We stopped by Mercy Tavern for a lovely lunch. The food was amazing! We were seated immediately. Ordered a Reuben and a Lobster Roll, both which were served with Garlic Fries, and both were delicious. We didn't have any complaints about the quality of food or how amazing it was. The service was slow though, and our drinks were not refilled. The server was pleasant, but slow and not very attentive. But that shouldn't bring down the fact that the food was very good - maybe next time I will just order two drinks at a time so I don't have to wait.

10/10; Stopped in to celebrate with a large party and staff was incredibly quick at getting tables arranged to accommodate us- very much appreciated! The drinks were SO GOOD- absolutely recommended the Spooky Juice. (And oh my gosh, the pumpkin ravioli was worth every penny. Ditto for the lobster roll!!!) Our waitress Christine was an absolute pleasure. Thank you so much to the crew at Mercy for putting up with our antics- we'll be back in the future for anniversary celebrations!

Mercy Tavern was my favorite restaurant during our trip to Salem! The food was great, I had the grilled cheese and my husband had the Reuben and loved both! The spiced apple mule I had was AMAZING. I have been trying to recreate it since we got home in Michigan and have no had any luck. So good!!! Of course there was a wait- Salem in October- but it went fast and it was well worth it!

This place is just awesome. Drinks were phenomenal. I loved service. The overall ambiance of the place was relaxing but hip and cool. Loved every second. Burger was totally worth it. Go here, You will not regret it. I promise.

First visit at this restaurant. It was surprisingly tasty food. The bar tender was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The corned beef sandwich was very good and came as ordered. Unique art hangs throughout. A lucky find walking around Salem. Worth checking out.

Perfect lunch in Salem! The Mercy Tavern is in our favorite part of Salem, right by the water. We could see it from our table. First off, lovely selection of vegetarian/pescatarian options. The pita pocket with falafel was savory and had the perfect amount of sauce. The seasonal veggies were surprisingly good as well. The fish and chips were a 10 out of 10. The batter was fluffy and hot. The fish was extremely fresh, and perfect with the slice of lemon. The garlic fries were also spot on! Slaw and tartar sauce were both pretty average. Our waitress was wonderful and we didn’t have a single complaint. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

It was very busy but expected because it was Halloween night. The food and seasonal cocktail drinks were amazing. I hope I can come back again next year to try something new.
